Welcome to Crimson Diamond Dance Company

So where does the Crimson Diamond name come from?  The color "crimson" reflects the passion with which we pursue our dance training.  The "diamond" symbolizes perfection and excellence... a rock that after a little polishing turns into a highly sought-after precious gem.

Founded with the goal of never settling for mediocrity, Crimson Diamond prides itself in constantly pushing the level of dance while always keeping practices fun and interesting.  If at first it is easy, it will always be easy.  But if at first it seems impossible, then it can only get easier. The instructors of CDDC help dancers bridge the gap between the impossible and the possible.

A Poem about Passion

Dancing is more than moving it’s a complicated art,
It’s skill and dedication but must come from the heart;

You can pick it up quickly but don’t overlook,
There are very fine details to be practiced by the book;

To some it comes easily but for others it may not,
However the appreciation for it is simply self-taught;

Power and strength are infused effortlessly,
Incorporated with sound for all senses to see;

For most dancing is merely a fling,
A social experience or a one time thing;

To others dance is a deeply rooted passion,
That will never fade in and out of fashion;

There’s a rare quality seen in those who care,
A spark in their eyes that adds extra flair;

Most importantly dance is a kind of obsession,
Open for interpretation and your self-expression.
